On the afternoon of January 15, the Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department held a conference to review tax work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Tax Department; leaders of Ninh Binh city and Hoa Lu district.
In 2023, budget collection in Ninh Binh city and Hoa Lu district achieved high results. The Department of State budget collection is estimated at more than 1,897.5 billion VND, equal to 113.7% of the ordinance estimate and 95% compared to the same period in 2022. Of which, Ninh Binh city collected more than 1,800.8 billion VND, equal to 125.4% of the ordinance estimate and 107.2% compared to the same period in 2022; Hoa Lu district collected more than 96.6 billion VND, equal to 41.6% of the ordinance estimate and 30.5% compared to the same period in 2022.
Notably, during the year, 7/12 revenue items and taxes were completed and exceeded the estimate; revenue items at communes, wards and towns reached 3.37 billion VND, equal to 375% of the estimate by law...
The work aspects such as: declaration, tax accounting, management of business households, enterprises, more accurate personal tax code data, inspection, debt collection, tax debt enforcement... are implemented effectively and in accordance with regulations by the unit. In 2023, the Department recovered 847.3 billion VND in tax debt, the amount of tax debt as of December 31, 2023 was 331.4 billion VND.
In 2024, the Ninh Binh-Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department will focus on the following tasks: ensuring local budget collection from taxes, fees, and charges exceeding the assigned legal estimate; strengthening discipline, implementing well the anti-corruption program, practicing thrift, and combating waste in tax agencies; innovating methods, developing diverse forms of propaganda to help taxpayers quickly access and grasp current tax policies; implementing policies to support businesses, organizations, and individuals to overcome difficulties, restore and develop production and business.
At the conference, the Ninh Binh-Hoa Lu Regional Tax Department launched an emulation movement and signed an emulation covenant for 2024.
