Chelsea lost to the team from Brazil
Flamengo staged a stunning second-half comeback to hand Chelsea a 3-1 defeat in the second round of the FIFA Club World Cup, moving the Brazilian side three points clear of second-placed The Blues at the top of Group D.
After providing an assist on his Chelsea debut, Liam Delap had the chance to open the scoring on his first start for the London club. The former Ipswich Town striker latched onto Enzo Fernandez's through ball but saw his powerful shot parried away by Agustin Rossi at the near post.

Chelsea did not have to wait long for Pedro Neto to open the scoring in Philadelphia, however. In the 13th minute, the Flamengo defender fumbled a clearance in midfield that bounced back to the Portuguese winger, who sprinted past Rossi and calmly scored his second goal of the tournament.
The Brazilians rallied after the goal. Flamengo enjoyed the majority of possession in response to the Blues' opener, and they came close to converting the pressure into an equaliser when Gerson's header was cleared off the line by Levi Colwill in the closing stages of the first half.
Trailing by a goal at half-time, Filipe Luis's side were determined to attack with purpose in the second half at Lincoln Financial Stadium. Gonzalo Plata headed wide from Gerson's deflected shot, before the Ecuadorian forced Robert Sanchez to fall with his own shot.
Plata failed to find a way past the Chelsea goalkeeper, but he was able to head home the decisive goal for Bruno Henrique to tap in from close range to level the score at 1-1 in the 62nd minute, creating jubilant scenes among the Flamengo fans. With the momentum of the win, it didn't take long for the Brazilian giants to take the lead through experienced defender Danilo. The former Juventus man finished after Henrique had jumped high to head the ball in from a deep angle, making it 2-1 in the 65th minute.
After conceding two goals in three minutes, Chelsea's misery worsened when striker Nicolas Jackson was sent off for a dangerous tackle on left-back Ayrton Lucas in the 68th minute, leaving the English side with 10 men.

Playing with one less man and conceding a goal, Chelsea could not fight back. The small hope of Enzo Maresca's team was extinguished when Wallace Yan scored a third goal in the last minute to seal Flamengo's sixth consecutive victory and end the Blues' four-match winning streak.
