After more than 10 years of operation, 23 Youth Clubs in the city have truly become a warm "common home" for over 1,000 members who are students in special circumstances or at risk of falling into special circumstances. Along with activities to connect and mobilize support for scholarships, learning tools, gifts, etc., the most important thing is that students are equipped with useful knowledge and skills to apply in life, to be able to respond and handle complex, dangerous situations that negatively affect their psychology and behavior. The center also enhances forms and content of communication related to current events and social situations so that members can share their thoughts on the meaning of life and appreciate their own values more.
To support poor students and students in difficult circumstances to continue going to school, in 2024, the City Social Work Center coordinated to mobilize 150 scholarships (worth 100 USD/scholarship) of the Project "Supporting scholarships for students in difficult circumstances in Can Tho City, period 2024-2025" of Legacy Charities, Inc - USA to award to students in Co Do, Vinh Thanh, Thoi Lai (old) districts.

Through the survey, most students receiving scholarships met the academic and training requirements at the end of the school year . At the same time, they hope to continue to be supported to have the conditions to go to school.
In addition, children with special circumstances raised at the City Social Work Center benefit from the State's support policies and support from philanthropists. The Center focuses on equipping them with useful knowledge and skills so that they are excited, focused on studying and practicing; gradually becoming friendly, sociable, and bold in communication and behavior. The Center maintains the organization of taking children to visit and experience tourism in many places. From there, the children feel the love of everyone, forming and spreading the belief in loving a kind and beautiful life.
Responding to the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children" of the Month of Action for Children 2025, the City Social Work Center continues to care for and create conditions for children to develop in a safe and healthy environment.
