Young Vietnamese players excited after training trip in Spain

Eight young Vietnamese players aged 13-14 have just concluded a special 10-day training trip in Madrid (Spain) with many memorable experiences in the world's leading professional football environment.

Young Vietnamese players just had a memorable experience with a training trip in Spain.

This is a program organized by Liga Academy Vietnam in collaboration with La Liga. Previously, in April, eight outstanding faces were selected from more than 200 candidates nationwide after a careful selection round at Gia Dinh Stadium (HCMC). The children went through 5v5 matches, practiced with simulated training programs from the EA Sports game and received guidance from La Liga coaches with UEFA Pro licenses.

In Spain, young players are introduced to high-intensity competition, detailed tactics and a modern training environment. “I see that the coaches give very detailed tactical instructions. The competition is also very fast and the players here have excellent technique,” said Hoang Tuan Kiet, one of the eight selected players.

In addition to their expertise, students also get to explore local football culture, connect with international friends and especially have the opportunity to meet the legendary Fernando Morientes - former Real Madrid player.

Mr. Pablo Casaos, Chief Representative of La Liga in Vietnam, affirmed: “Many Spanish coaches highly appreciate the potential of Vietnamese players. These experiences will be an important foundation for long-term development.”

The training trip not only opens the door to dreams for young talents but also shows a thorough investment in the next generation of Vietnamese football.
