President Pezeshkian affirmed that Iran is ready to resume negotiations with the US. However, he stressed that Tehran will continue to “assert its legitimate right” to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
Earlier the same day, in a phone call with President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mr. Pezeshkian affirmed that Iran is ready to resolve issues "within the international framework and at the negotiating table."

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that his country's military campaign had achieved its key goal of stopping Iran's nuclear program.
In a speech to the nation, Prime Minister Netanyahu affirmed that Israel will resolutely prevent any efforts to rebuild Tehran's nuclear capabilities.
Earlier, the Israeli military announced that its airstrikes had set back Iran's plans to build a nuclear bomb by "years" and that Israel's military campaign in the Islamic Republic was now "entering a new phase."
Israel and Iran have agreed on a ceasefire agreement that will officially take effect at 7:00 a.m. on June 24 (Israel time). Accordingly, Iran will immediately stop its attacks, while Israel will join the ceasefire 12 hours after the agreement begins./.
