By noon on July 23, the authorities were able to contact officials and residents of some villages in My Ly commune. Initial preliminary statistics showed that about 150 houses were submerged and swept away by the flood, more than 200 houses were deeply flooded, mainly in 7 villages along the river. The suspension bridge over Yen Hoa village, My Ly commune was swept away by the flood on the night of July 22. Total damage was estimated at nearly 30 billion VND.
