(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The Children's Cultural Palace and Hac Thanh Sports Center are entering the completion stage, expected to be inaugurated at the end of July this year.

Located in the most modern urban area of Thanh Hoa, Thanh Hoa City Children's Cultural Palace and Sports Center (now renamed Hac Thanh Children's Cultural Palace and Sports Center) is considered one of the largest and most modern projects for children in Thanh Hoa.

The project is located in a prime location, with four facades, right next to the old administrative headquarters of the city, now the headquarters of Hac Thanh ward.

This project started in May 2024. The entire project is built on an area of over 4.1 hectares, divided into two main components: Children's Cultural Palace and Sports Center.

In particular, the Children's Cultural Palace stands out with its 7-storey central building - the architectural highlight of the entire area, along with many auxiliary items such as a three-storey annex, a 300-seat competition area, a covered physical training area...

Functional spaces are arranged to serve the training of indoor arts and sports such as chess, Chinese chess, music, aerobics, dancing...

The chess classroom has been vividly decorated with colorful wall drawings, creating an attractive learning space for children.

The aerobics room is being urgently equipped with equipment, ensuring safety with a system of mirrors, stairs, and sturdy railings suitable for children's specific use.

Adjacent to the cultural palace is a multi-functional sports area, including an artificial football field, tennis court, basketball court and especially an impressive steel-frame dome swimming pool.

The swimming pool has a water surface area of 500 m2 (25 m long, 20 m wide), divided into 8 swimming lanes, meeting the standards to organize tournaments for teenagers and children.

In addition, the colorful outdoor water music playground has also been completed, located right next to the multi-purpose gymnasium.

The lighting system, lawns and trees throughout the campus have been basically completed.

According to the investor's report, the progress of this project up to now has completed 100% of the construction volume.

Contractors are carrying out cleaning, equipment installation and testing operations.

The project is expected to be inaugurated at the end of July 2025, 5 months earlier than the original plan.

After the merger, Hac Thanh ward now has a population of more than 197,000 people, of which children account for a large proportion. The appearance of this modern Children's Cultural Palace and Sports Center is expected to not only meet the needs of learning, training, and entertainment for the young generation, but also become a typical cultural and sports highlight in the heart of the city.
