Viet Hung, Long Bien, Phuc Loi and Bo De wards commemorate heroic martyrs

On July 24 and 25, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Viet Hung, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, and Bo De wards held many meaningful gratitude activities.

The delegation of Viet Hung ward led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the ward Duong Hoai Nam offered incense at Uncle Ho's Memorial House in Truong Lam; offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Yen Vien Cemetery, Kim Son Cemetery, and martyrs' memorials in the area.

The delegation of Long Bien ward led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen Manh Ha offered incense and commemorated heroic martyrs at cemeteries and martyrs' memorials in the ward and Kim Son and Yen Vien cemeteries.

Delegation of Phuc Loi ward led by Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen The Thach offered incense and commemorated heroic martyrs at the ward's martyrs' memorial and Yen Vien cemetery.

The delegation of Bo De ward led by Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the ward Vu Thi Thanh, together with a large number of cadres, union members, association members and people in the area, carried out the program of lighting candles in gratitude at 4 martyrs' memorials in the ward.

Also on this occasion, many organizations, unions, schools and individuals in the wards held incense offering ceremonies and commemorated heroic martyrs at cemeteries and martyr memorials in the area.

Along with that, the wards also organize many practical activities to care for the lives of people with meritorious services, war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs' families in the area.

Not only paying and implementing well the policy for people with meritorious services according to the direction of the Central and the city, the wards also organize visits, give gifts; give savings books, organize medical examinations, treatment, and give free medicine to people with meritorious services...

These activities have profound meanings, demonstrating the morality of “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Repaying gratitude” of cadres, party members and people of the wards towards the heroic martyrs - those who heroically sacrificed for the cause of fighting for national independence and protecting the Fatherland. These are also activities that contribute to spreading and educating the tradition of patriotism, humanity and gratitude to the younger generation.
