Chairman of Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee Nguyen Quang Trung, expected to be Secretary of Vinh Tuy Ward Party Committee (new), shared that from July 1, 2025, the ward-level government apparatus will have fundamental changes in the direction of streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency. This is a historical milestone, and at the same time, a new requirement for the team of cadres and civil servants.

“The model transfer does not mean the end of the mission of serving the people, but is a next step to further improve the quality of state management and serving the people in the new development stage,” said comrade Nguyen Quang Trung.

Vice Chairwoman of Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, expected to be Chairwoman of Bach Mai Ward People's Committee, said that in recent days, to prepare for the pilot operation of the two-level local government model, the wards have been urgently preparing all aspects, in which, priority is given to renovating facilities and technical infrastructure, ensuring adequate equipment at the "one-stop" department so as not to interrupt service to the people.

In particular, the ward's "one-stop" department is arranged spaciously and modernly to help people quickly get their matters resolved in the shortest time. In addition to handling 147 commune-level administrative procedures and 64 administrative procedures of authorized departments and branches, from July 1, the wards will handle district-level procedures. Therefore, the wards must strengthen the staff and civil servants for the ward's "one-stop" department to ensure adequate professional capacity and public ethics to best serve the people and businesses.

Vice Chairman of Hai Ba Trung District People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung, expected to be Chairman of Hai Ba Trung Ward People's Committee, said that after a week of trial operation along with training conferences of the Central and the city, the preparation of facilities and festive decorations for the ceremony announcing the decision to deploy the administrative unit on the morning of July 1 has been basically completed.
