Simplify loan procedures
Recently, Mr. Nguyen Van Chan's family, Truong Xuan commune, Dak Song district ( Dak Nong ) came to the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) Dak Nong Branch to borrow capital to invest in a coffee garden.
After the proposal, the bank's credit officer contacted him directly. The process of reviewing and evaluating the application... was carried out quickly by the bank. In less than 3 days, Mr. Chan was able to borrow 200 million VND according to his needs.

“Compared to before, the loan procedures at the bank are much more convenient. Borrowers only need to have a need and request and the credit officer will proactively contact them. If it is favorable, the loan will be disbursed within a few days,” Mr. Chan shared.
Similarly, thanks to the quick and convenient loan procedures, Mr. Le Trung Thanh's family in Dak R'moan commune, Gia Nghia city (Dak Nong) easily borrowed 250 million VND to invest in expanding their livestock farming scale.
“Now many banks are operating. Credit officers often come down to introduce loan packages. People who want to borrow money just need to contact a credit officer to complete the application. The time and procedures for borrowing are simple and quick,” Mr. Thanh affirmed.
According to Deputy Director of BIDV Dak Nong Branch Pham Quoc Viet, the bank is increasingly focusing on customers. BIDV Dak Nong is promoting improvements in credit granting processes, creating favorable conditions for customers to easily access loans, especially in the agricultural and rural areas.

“When customers make a proposal, we assign each relevant department to handle the loan application, appraisal, etc. Information about loans, interest rates, and procedural instructions are supported by the bank on the spot for those who need to borrow capital. Thanks to that, time, costs, and travel are greatly reduced,” Mr. Viet affirmed.
Leaders of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank) Dak Nong Branch informed that people and businesses often hesitate to borrow capital from large banks because they fear strict procedures and loan conditions.
To resolve this, Vietcombank’s credit staff has patiently removed this mentality. Over the past time, loan procedures, interest payment methods, interest calculation methods as well as production plans… have all been directly consulted and prepared by Vietcombank. Working time and answering customer questions are also specifically and transparently determined by the affiliated departments.
T boost credit growth
Simplifying loan procedures has created favorable conditions for people to access capital in a timely manner. When demand increases, disbursement is quick, contributing to promoting outstanding loan growth at credit institutions.

Deputy Director of BIDV Dak Nong Branch Vo Quoc Viet said: “In recent years, the credit growth rate for the agricultural and rural sector at the unit has been constantly increasing. By the end of October 2024, the outstanding debt at the unit was 7,630 billion VND. Of which, outstanding debt in the agricultural and rural sector alone accounted for nearly 80%.
According to the State Bank of Dak Nong Province Branch, by the end of October 2024, outstanding credit loans of the entire economic sector in the area reached nearly 50,000 billion VND. Loans to the agricultural and rural sectors alone accounted for 75%.
In recent times, local credit institutions have continuously simplified procedures and diversified lending services. Many units have proactively balanced capital sources, prioritizing lending in the agricultural and rural sectors.

Credit institutions are stepping up customer care services. Banks are focusing on statistics, situation monitoring, and credit capital investment for certain crops such as coffee, pepper, rubber, etc.
Credit institutions have had credit policies and timely capital allocation to create favorable conditions for people to access loans to boost production, especially in remote areas.
