The music night Du ca: Mai mai ben em by singer and musician Jimmii Nguyen took place in the pine forest in Dai Lai, Phu Tho .

The singer said that the weather these past few days has been a challenge with intense heat, some days reaching 38 degrees Celsius, making singing "like taking a sauna".

The 3-hour program includes 26 performances divided into 3 chapters: The One Who Walks Through the Darkness, The World Is a Beautiful Dream , and Forever With You .

Jimmii Nguyen chose the three songs Bow Down, There's a Moonlit Night and Mother of a Thousand Lives, the Lullaby to open the music night.

"I am grateful to my homeland, my country and the Vietnamese audience for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to continue the flame that my brother - musician Tran Tien has passed on, extending the traveling music to all of Vietnam. I believe that everyone should have moments to look down at the ground, listen to the breath of their motherland, listen to the sound of water to love their roots more," he shared.

Jimmii Nguyen's daughters Alena and Malena changed the atmosphere with the song "Drinking to Heal" composed by Alena. She also performed the songs "Crazy Guy" and "Hysteron Proteron" .

Guest singer Vy Oanh appeared in chapter 2 with her favorite songs. She and her senior - Jimmii Nguyen sang the song Fantasy , creating a highlight for the show.

After singing, Vy Oanh said that Jimmii Nguyen's music was an indispensable part of her high school life, inspiring her to pursue music . Being present at the show and singing a duet with him was a "dream come true" for her.

"With my husband here, I'm a little shy about telling this story. When I was young, I used to listen to Jimmii's music and fantasize about holding hands. But it was the kind of holding for a bit and then feeling embarrassed and pulling away," the singer said.

Vy Oanh also revealed that the Jimmii Nguyen - Ngoc Pham family has been close for more than 20 years, accompanying each other in many social activities but have never sung a duet. After 2 missed opportunities in the 2 previous traveling nights, Vy Oanh proactively "asked" to sing in the show in Phu Tho this time.

In the final chapter, Jimmii Nguyen devotes musical space to nostalgia with familiar hits such as: Love like leaves flying far away, Smoke waiting, Lagerstroemia flowers, Forever with you, Remembering you ... and Cay - the latest hit in his career.

Like previous concerts, Jimmii Nguyen devoted his time to community activities. Previously, he asked the audience to donate textbooks, notebooks, and school supplies instead of flowers.

After the show, the singer and his crew came to interact and give books and school supplies to children at Dai Dinh Secondary School (Tam Dao, Phu Tho). Jimmii Nguyen promised to maintain the Book - Music - Water fund to continue spreading the reading culture to children in disadvantaged areas.

Vy Oanh said she once wished to hold Jimmii Nguyen's hand when she was a student.
