To be able to speak at the closing ceremony, Phan Linh Da had to work hard throughout the school year, with days of "hard work" without any distraction. She won the national consolation prize in Literature and was selected as "Honorable Student of the Whole School". She contributed a "red brick" to the school's outstanding achievements. The school was established in 1992, named after the famous Thu Khoa Nghia, who made great contributions toeducation and cultural development in the Southwest region. Mr. Nguyen Tri Thanh (Principal of Thu Khoa Nghia High School for the Gifted) is very proud, because this rate is 7.4% higher than the 2023-2024 school year. The whole school has 3 excellent students at the national level; 20 students won the 30/4 Olympic prize (1 gold medal, 5 silver medals, 14 bronze medals), 10 prizes higher than last year; 64 students are excellent in culture at the provincial level (8 first prizes, 25 second prizes, 31 third prizes); 7 projects won prizes in scientific research at the provincial level (1 project won the overall first prize, participating in the national competition)... The school's students also regularly win prizes in competitions and competitions of the education sector.

According to the school's Board of Directors, this achievement comes from many sides. In addition to the efforts of teachers and students, there is also the attention of the locality, the support of philanthropists, parents, alumni... In the past school year, the school established the Scholarship - Scholarship Fund, mobilizing nearly 200 million VND. From this source, the school bought 31 health insurance packages, 14 accident insurance packages for students; gave 48 gifts to poor students during Tet; supported 15,500 lunches for students in difficult circumstances, living far away and having to stay at school. In particular, it awarded excellent students and good students at the year-end summary ceremony (more than 120 million VND including money and gifts).
The closing ceremony at the specialized school seemed to last longer, because the number of teachers and students who were awarded reached nearly 1,000. Many classes that excellently completed the tasks of the study and training movement were honored. Pride was clearly shown in the eyes of teachers and parents. At the end of the school year, Mr. Nguyen Tri Thanh sadly advised: “The process of effort and striving in studying and training, the achievements you have achieved are the most beautiful flowers to offer to leaders, parents, teachers, and benefactors; are the lipstick that adds more color to the glorious traditional flag of the school. I wish the 411 grade 12 students of the school to achieve the highest results in the high school graduation exam. In the future, you will be active people in all fields, useful citizens for the locality and the country. Each of your successes is a joy for your parents and teachers”.
Phan Kim Anh (class 11V1) attentively listened to the sharing of her senior Phan Linh Da, and the advice of the principal. She was very proud of her own achievements (second prize in the provincial Literature competition), when she was just starting to build a solid foundation. “I really admire the achievements of my seniors, so I will try my best to learn more about both knowledge and skills. It is not just about learning theory, but also about practicing and applying it to life. From now on, I will focus more on pursuing my passion and orienting my future” - Kim Anh's eyes were shining with ambition and determination.
The closing ceremony has closed the old school year, but opened up many wishes and expectations for the future, for the increasingly mature generation of students at the school named after the valedictorian. Surely, the outstanding achievements will continue to be maintained by the students, so that the closing ceremony next year will still be filled with the same pride and happiness.
