Pursuant to Decision No. 12-QD/BCĐTW dated June 10, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on approving the overall project of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Official Dispatch No. 5256/VPCP-KGVX dated June 12, 2025 of the Government Office on continuing to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were organized to widely propagate throughout the Party, people and army the stature and significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); educate the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great solidarity, the desire for peace , the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, self-respecting and proud of the nation; express deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood and bones for national independence and unification; affirm the determination of the entire Party, people and army in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The commemorative activities include: Developing a script for the ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Organizing a special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Developing a logo, identity set, and emblem as gifts for meetings of Party and State leaders on the occasion of the commemoration; Developing a plan to establish a press center to direct and orient information on the commemorative activities, especially the ceremony, parade, and march; Organizing an exhibition of national socio -economic achievements with the theme "Brilliant Vietnam, 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"; Organizing a contest to create propaganda posters about the event.
