The Truc Lam Three Patriarchs statue set consists of three statues carved from jackfruit wood, dating from the 19th century, including: the statue of the First Patriarch Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong, the statue of the Second Patriarch Phap Loa and the statue of the Third Patriarch Huyen Quang.

This is a unique set of statues, with unique historical, cultural and artistic values, expressing the spirit of the Truc Lam Zen sect - a pure Vietnamese Zen sect founded by Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Bac Giang City People's Committee Dang Dinh Hoan emphasized the important role of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda in the history of Vietnamese Buddhist culture. Built in the 11th century under King Ly Thai To, the pagoda was not only a sacred place of worship but also a center for training monks and directing pagodas throughout the country during the Tran Dynasty.

In particular, three founders of the Truc Lam Zen sect were ordained here, affirming the position of the pagoda in the development of Vietnamese Buddhism.

In addition to its ancient architectural value, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda also preserves a treasure trove of valuable heritage, including the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda Woodblocks set of 3,050 woodblocks, recognized by UNESCO as a world documentary heritage in the Asia-Pacific region.

Along with that, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda Festival has been included in the List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
