Arrange shuttle bus for 968 officials from Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau to work in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just submitted a draft plan to transport officials from Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau to work in Ho Chi Minh City from July 1.

On the afternoon of June 25, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction Bui Hoa An said that the department has just submitted a draft plan to transport officials from Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau to work in Ho Chi Minh City from July 1.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, after consulting, there are 968 officials in the two localities using shuttle buses. Specifically, Binh Duong has 507 officials in need of shuttle buses, of which 487 are picked up during the day and 20 are picked up on weekends; Ba Ria - Vung Tau has 461 officials in need of shuttle buses, of which 320 are picked up during the day and 141 are picked up on weekends.

Plan to organize the transportation of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers from Binh Duong to Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee (41.3km) is as follows:

Outbound trip at Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center - Le Loi Street - Huynh Van Luy Street - Pham Ngoc Thach Street - Binh Duong Boulevard - Go Dau Roundabout - 30/4 Street - CMT8 Street - Le Hong Phong Street - Binh Duong Boulevard - National Highway 13 - Dinh Bo Linh Street - Dien Bien Phu Street - Nguyen Binh Khiem Street - Le Duan Street - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street - Le Thanh Ton Street (HCMC People's Committee) - Pham Hong Thai Street - Nguyen Trai Street - Saigon Bus Station.

Return: Saigon bus station - Pham Ngu Lao street - Yesin street - Tran Hung Dao street - Le Loi street (HCMC People's Committee) - Hai Ba Trung street - Dinh Tien Hoang street - Dien Bien Phu street - National Highway 13 - Binh Duong Avenue - Le Hong Phong street - CMT8 street - 30/4 street - Go Dau roundabout - Binh Duong Avenue - Pham Ngoc Thach street - Huynh Van Luy street - Le Loi street - Binh Duong Provincial Administrative Center.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the bus picks up at Saigon Bus Station; Bus Station on Le Duan Street, Bus Station on Le Thanh Ton Street, Bus Station on Hai Ba Trung Street, Ben Thanh Metro Station, Bus Station on Le Loi Street.

Departure: Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Administrative Center - Bach Dang Street - Nguyen Tat Thanh Street - Truong Chinh Street - National Highway 51 - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway - Mai Chi Tho Street - Ky Con Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - Nguyen Thai Hoc Street - Le Lai Street - Saigon Bus Station.

Return: Saigon bus station - Pham Ngu Lao street - Yersin street - Ky Con street - Saigon river tunnel - Mai Chi Tho street - Long Thanh, Dau Giay expressway - National highway 15 - Truong Chinh street - Nguyen Tat Thanh street - Bach Dang street - Ba Ria - Vung Tau province administrative center (77 km).

Regarding travel time frame: it is expected that there will be 6 outbound and 6 return trips per day, divided into 3 different time frames. The means of transport are high-quality vehicles, manufactured from 2020 onwards, with Wi-fi to simultaneously connect multiple devices and provide Internet access to users as well as serve the operating system on the vehicle.

The cost is about 1,298,000,000 VND/month, including the cost of renting 24 45-seat buses. The estimated cost for the last 6 months of 2025 is 7,788,000,000 VND.

In the initial phase, travel demand is not stable, and it is forecasted that there will be a demand that exceeds the initial forecast. Therefore, the Department of Construction proposes to proactively use the funding to support public passenger transport by bus to pay for this service.

Due to the urgency of implementing the service, in the last 6 months of 2025, the Department of Construction proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approve the Public Transport Management Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction) to order a transport unit with sufficient capacity and experience to participate in providing transportation services for officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers.

From the beginning of 2026, after stabilizing the travel needs of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers, the Department of Construction will advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on methods of ordering or bidding with transport units in accordance with regulations.
