
According to information from the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province, at 9:10 a.m. this morning, June 11, fishing boat QNa 92954-TS of fishermen from Dien Duong ward, Dien Ban town, operating at the coordinates 15º35'03''N - 109º24'16''E (about 40 nautical miles east of An Hoa cape), had engine failure and was at risk of sinking.
Currently, the QNa 92954-TS ship is being towed and supported by the QNa 92032-TS fishing boat. This area currently has force 6 winds and rough seas.
At 9:45 this morning, the Provincial Border Guard Command dispatched ship BP-43.9801 with 7 officers and soldiers of Border Guard Squadron 2 from Tam Hiep Port (Nui Thanh) to the sea to support and rescue the fishing boat in distress. It is expected that the fishing boat will be reached at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon.

The Provincial Border Guard Command directed the Ky Ha Port Border Guard Station to continue to keep in contact with the ship owner/captain of fishing boat QNa 92954-TS.
Fishing boat QNa 92954-TS has a capacity of 715CV, fishing with a net, with 2 crew members on board, departed at 9:17 a.m. on May 27 from An Hoa Border Control Station (Ky Ha Port Border Guard Station).
