Binh Duong aims to become a centrally-governed city by 2030

On the afternoon of September 19, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province held a press conference to inform about the Conference to announce the planning of Binh Duong province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, along with investment promotion activities.

Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee informed at the press conference.

At the meeting, Chief of Office of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee Vo Anh Tuan said that the event is scheduled to take place on September 26. Binh Duong hopes that through these important events, it can mobilize maximum investment resources for the province.

According to Mr. Vo Anh Tuan, the province's plan is that by 2030, Binh Duong will be a leader in science - technology and innovation, a modern service industry center; the socio -economic infrastructure system and urban system will develop synchronously, modernly, intelligently and sustainably according to the green growth model.

The average economic growth rate in the period 2021 - 2030 will reach about 10%/year, the average GRDP per capita in 2030 will reach about 15,800 USD; the economic structure in 2030, industry and construction will account for 64%, the service industry will account for 28%, agriculture, forestry and fishery will account for 2%; the proportion of digital economy will reach 30% of GRDP.
