With more than 70 farming seasons, Mr. Ro Mah Bloi (Triel village, Ia Pnon commune, Duc Co district) clearly understands the changes in his homeland. According to Mr. Bloi, in addition to the policies and guidelines of the Party and State, the role of the 15th Army Corps is equally important.
“Recently, our village was recognized as a new rural village, everyone is happy. In addition to the investment from the State, the production teams of the 15th Army Corps have supported with working days and funds to repair the roads. Along with that, many people have been hired as workers by the 72 One Member Co., Ltd., so they have a stable income,” Mr. Bloi shared.

Not only Triel village but also many villages in the border area that have achieved new rural standards have the contributions of units of Army Corps 15. The units not only create jobs and increase income for people but also contribute working days and materials to help localities build new rural areas.
Colonel Khuat Ba Cao - Secretary of the Party Committee of Army Corps 15 - said: With the consistent and continuous policy of "developing and expanding production wherever possible, attracting labor and building residential areas there", together with the locality to create a solid and interconnected defense position, in recent years, Army Corps 15 has brought nearly 13 thousand households with over 50 thousand people, built 266 residential clusters along the border, eliminating the "empty population" situation.
To build a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture and create a fighting posture of village clusters and communes, the Corps has closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to arrange residential clusters and points interspersed with villages and hamlets, suitable for concentrated production areas of companies, units, production teams, as well as combat and defense plans.

Along with building residential areas and clusters, Corps 15 also implemented many good models, highly appreciated by local authorities and people such as: "The sound of the gong to protect national border security", "Security cameras", "Shine of the village"...
From 2023 to present, the Corps has directed its affiliated companies, enterprises, and defense economic groups to closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to install 181 alarm gongs in agencies and units; 84 alarm gongs in border villages and hamlets; more than 200 security cameras, and more than 10 "Sunshine stars in the village" projects.
Whenever there is a need to report a crime, accident or a stranger entering the border area, the gong rings to notify everyone to join forces to resolve and handle the situation.
To help localities build new rural areas, since the beginning of the year, the Corps has mobilized 38,000 working days with people to clean up public places, guide people to renovate mixed gardens, develop production, overcome the consequences of natural disasters, epidemics, and rescue.
In addition, the Corps has lent ethnic minorities nearly 1,300 hectares of land to replant rubber trees to grow rice and other crops; and supported more than 8 billion VND to buy seeds, materials, and means of production.
Implementing the movement "The Army joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Corps has supported the construction and repair of 357 houses worth nearly 17 billion VND; presented 23,000 gifts worth more than 9.5 billion VND to officers, soldiers, workers and people in difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet.
In addition, since the beginning of the year, the Corps has organized 218 propaganda sessions, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, issues related to policies for ethnic minorities, along with honoring and rewarding village elders, village chiefs, party cell secretaries, and prestigious people in ethnic minority areas...

Since the beginning of the year, the Corps has spent over 87 billion VND to give more than 82,000 gifts to cadres, workers and people in the area where the unit is located.
“In the coming time, the Corps will continue to direct agencies and units to recruit local workers and coordinate with local authorities to effectively carry out mass mobilization work, especially in new rural construction,” added Colonel Khuat Ba Cao.
