QUANG NINH - These days, on top of Phuong Hoang Mountain, Uong Bi City, a sea of clouds appears, attracting many people to come and sightsee and camp.

Phoenix Hill, also known as Ba Tang Mountain, is located in Hamlet 12 Khe, Bac Son Ward, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh , about 40 km from Ha Long center. Phoenix Peak is nearly 500 m above sea level.

This area has many mountains, undulating hills, fresh air, romantic scenery.

These days, in the early morning, the Phoenix Hill area appears a beautiful sea of clouds, hazy in the dawn light.

From 3am, clouds began to creep through the small valleys and then flooded the hills.

According to local people, the sea of clouds only appears in the fall, after long rainy days, accompanied by cold air causing water vapor to condense.

The view from Phuong Hoang hill is wild and beautiful, similar to famous check-in locations in the Northwest region.

Tran Dat, a photographer from Hai Phong, spent the night at Phuong Hoang Hill to have the opportunity to watch the clouds at dawn. "Waking up in a cool natural setting, watching the sea of clouds, majestic mountains and hills, is an experience worth trying in life," said Dat.

Like Mr. Dat, many people camp overnight at Phuong Hoang Hill. If you are afraid to bring your own belongings, you can rent tents, tables and chairs here for 200,000 VND to 400,000 VND per day and night. Food is also served for 200,000 VND to 300,000 VND per person.

Phoenix Hill is also in the grass burning season (from October to January of the following year), the green color is gradually replaced by yellow-brown.

Visitors can ride a motorbike or car to the top of the hill. The distance is about one kilometer but the slope is steep and difficult to navigate. Motorbike taxis are available here for 50,000 VND per person, one way.

The heart-shaped acacia tree stands alone on top of Phoenix Mountain.

With its wild beauty, Phoenix Hill is a suitable place for mountain climbing and weekend camping.
