The Vietnamese women's team had the most emotional match in history when they let Thailand lead 2-0 and then came back to win 3-2 and become the SEA V.League 2025 champion.
This is the first time in history that the Vietnamese women's team has defeated Thailand in an official tournament.
Contributing greatly to helping the Vietnamese women's team change their history against Thailand is opposite setter Bich Tuyen.
According to statistics, Bich Tuyen scored 45 points with an attack efficiency of 55%, including 2 blocks and 1 serve, helping Vietnam overcome Thailand after 5 tense sets.
The female player born in 2000 was the one who scored the most points for the Vietnamese women's team in the decisive match against Thailand.
With impressive performance throughout the tournament, Bich Tuyen was honored in two categories: "Best Opposite Setter" and MVP - "Best All-Around Athlete".
In other individual awards, Vi Thi Nhu Quynh was also awarded the "Best Striker" award, alongside Chatchu-on Moksri of the Thai women's team.
Another player of the Vietnamese women's team, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, received the "Best Middle Blocker" award.
The award was also given to Wimonrat Thanapan of Thailand.
