Boy died while using phone while charging

On June 17, information from the People's Committee of Phu Xuan Commune (Quan Hoa District) said that the local government and the family had just organized a funeral for H.D.N (7 years old, living in Pan village, Phu Xuan commune) who was electrocuted to death.

In just the past 2 weeks, in Thanh Hoa province, 2 boys were electrocuted to death while using their phones while charging.

Previously, at around 4 p.m. on June 15, after taking a bath, H.D.N went into the house and used his phone while charging it. While using it, N. was electrocuted. Discovering the incident, N.'s grandfather ran over and kicked the phone away from N. However, N. died on the spot.

After the incident, local authorities and the victim's family held a funeral.

According to information from the People's Committee of Phu Xuan commune, N.'s family situation is very difficult, he is an ethnic minority family, and N.'s parents do not have stable jobs.

Previously, on the evening of June 3, a 7-year-old boy (living in Tan Son village, Thach Son commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa) was electrocuted to death while using his phone while charging the battery.
