BTO-The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Binh Thuan province, led by Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Head of the Executive Committee, recently visited and extended New Year greetings to the Provincial People's Committee. At the New Year visit, Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat thanked the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors for their support, attention, and facilitation in the activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province. With the spirit of "benefiting religion and life", in 2023, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province organized many social charity activities with a total value of more than 32 billion VND. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, Most Venerable Thich Minh Nhat sent New Year greetings - health, peace and many new victories to the Provincial People's Committee, all levels, sectors and people in the province.
At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed some basic features of the socio -economic situation of the province. Especially the outstanding development of the local tourism industry. At the same time, he acknowledged the positive contributions of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, especially the social security work in the area. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in 2024 as well as the following years, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province will continue to promote the results and good traditions, together with the province to promote socio-economic development in the area; ensure security and order; improve people's lives; continue to preserve and promote good cultural traditions.
