On the evening of December 14, the legendary pop-rock band Maroon 5 arrived at Phu Quoc International Airport on a private jet. All 6 members of the band arrived on the pearl island earlier than expected to best prepare for the super music concert 8Wonder Winter Festival taking place on the night of December 16 at Phu Quoc United Center.

The full lineup of "contemporary pop rock icon" Maroon 5 with 6 members arrived in Phu Quoc at 11pm on December 14. Despite having just gone through a long journey, Adam Levine and his teammates still appeared with their familiar romantic and liberal style.

This is the first time America's most successful pop rock band has performed in Vietnam.

On the evening of December 14, 8Wonder's giant clock-shaped "Closal Sphere" stage was tested for lighting for the first time, showing off its perfect splendor, ready for the "time travel" of tens of thousands of visitors with the immortal music of Maroon 5.

Maroon 5 will bring to the 8Wonder Winter Festival audience a fiery performance expected to last over 75 minutes, with 11 global hits: "This Love, She Will Be Loved, Moves Like Jagger, One More Night, Sugar, Don't Wanna Know, Sunday Morning, Girls Like you, Memories, Animals, Maps".

The group will perform on an electronic music background combined with live bands as in the group's world tours.

This is also the consistent performance style of the Vietnamese artists: Toc Tien, Justatee, Grey D... The organizers also said that they brought to the 8Wonder stage strict international standard equipment systems according to Maroon 5's special requirements, from two Grand MA3 lighting mixers, of which there are only 3 nationwide, to the D&B J series and V series FOH speaker systems - currently the most advanced sound systems in the world, along with thousands of other international standard sound, lighting and projection equipment.

Maroon 5 comes to Vietnam

In addition, singer Katy Perry will also come to Vietnam to perform at the VinFuture 2023 awards ceremony on the evening of December 20. She has been to Vietnam twice but has never performed.

In 2015, she was a guest at a forum in Ho Chi Minh City. A year later, she came to Ninh Thuan as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF. But this time, Katy Perry will debut to Vietnamese audiences with her hits.

Katy Perry will also sing in Vietnam on December 20.
