Runner-up suddenly shared that she divorced her husband 9 years ago

After winning the title of 2nd Runner-up at the Miss Ao Dai 2019 contest, Huong Kathy (real name Nguyen Thu Huong) temporarily put aside her design work to focus on her personal life. However, recently, she has officially returned to the fashion industry.

Standing at 1.72m tall and weighing 52kg, Huong Kathy does not hesitate to model for her own designs. Behind that well-proportioned body is a scientific lifestyle: reasonable diet, starch control and diligent exercise.

After the divorce, Huong Kathy learned to listen and respect differences.

On social networks, Huong Kathy often spreads positive energy through travel images, social activities, fashion... However, she chooses to keep her personal life private, especially her marriage. "I just want people to remember me as a beautiful intellectual, a fashion designer who beautifies women and a sincere volunteer," she affirmed.

In the face of speculations surrounding her luxurious image and suspicions of a rich husband, Huong Kathy spoke up for the first time to clarify with VietNamNet reporter: "Currently, I am a happy single woman." She added that her first marriage came when she was very young, in her twenties, and ended 9 years ago.

Even though the marriage ended, she did not see it as a failure but as a great lesson.

When looking back on her past marriage, Huong Kathy did not avoid but honestly confided: "We divorced because of irreconcilable differences. We both tried but at one point realized that breaking up was the best way for both of us to live happier lives."

She emphasized: "Although the marriage ended, I do not consider it a failure but a great lesson in life. I learned how to listen, respect differences and become more mature in future relationships."

In the near future, Huong Kathy will take on the role of judge and fashion designer for the contestants of Mrs Grand Vietnam 2025, taking place on June 29 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace (Hanoi). This is a playground for ladies, where beauty, courage and kindness go hand in hand.
