40 booths participate in brand connection festival in HCMC

On August 20, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City held a press conference to inform about the "Brand Connection and Industry Product Usage Day" of the bloc in 2024. The event will take place from August 29 to 31 at the 4A yard of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.

At the festival, brands, products, and images of agencies, units, and enterprises inside and outside the bloc will be introduced; a discussion on "Solutions to promote and effectively implement brand connection and product use in the bloc's industry" will be held; and the "Connection - Development" website will be launched.

The festival also included a walking program to contribute to the "For the Poor" Fund of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee; a "Brand Discovery" playground; an art competition, fashion show; an exhibition of beautiful images in production - business, teaching, learning, and research activities of cadres, party members, union members, youth, workers, students, and pupils. In addition, scholarships and gifts were awarded to workers, workers, union members, youth, students, and pupils in difficult circumstances; and cooperation and connection agreements were signed to use services and products in the industry between units, businesses, research institutes, and schools in the bloc.

According to Mr. Cao Van Duc, Head of the Propaganda Department - Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City, the festival is an activity to strengthen the connection and use of products in the industry between agencies, units, and enterprises inside and outside the bloc. Thereby, continuing to promote the effective implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; widely introducing to the people of Ho Chi Minh City about strong brands inside and outside the bloc; contributing to the propaganda and promotion of the image, products, and services of the unit.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, said that this is the first time the festival has been held, with the motto "Connection - Practicality - Efficiency - Savings". Up to now, 32 units have registered to participate with 40 booths displaying and introducing brands and products. The Party Committee of the Block is very much looking forward to maintaining this program for many years to come.

The Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City was formerly the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Grassroots Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City. After the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Grassroots Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City merged with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction Bloc and the Party Committee of the Banking Bloc, it was renamed the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc in Ho Chi Minh City, from July 17, 2023.

Currently, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies in Ho Chi Minh City has 90 affiliated grassroots Party organizations (42 Party Committees, 48 ​​Party cells), with over 7,000 Party members and more than 80,000 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working.
