According to Mr. Khuong, the mines were auctioned at a higher price than the starting price but only a few times higher than the average price. The auction of the right to exploit 6 mineral mines, including 3 sand and gravel mines, was organized publicly and in accordance with regulations.

Previously, on June 19, Hoa Thuan Joint Stock Auction Company organized auctions for mineral exploitation rights for Dai Loc District People's Committee for 6 mineral mines including 3 sand and gravel mines and the remaining 3 clay, stone and fill soil mines.
At the auction, there were representatives of the leaders of Dai Loc District People's Committee, representatives of the district's Department of Agriculture and Environment and specialized departments under the district People's Committee attending and supervising the auction.
The auction results of the sand mines were high, with a large difference compared to the starting price. Specifically, at the DL12B1 mine (in Truong An village and Phu Huong village, Dai Quang commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province), the sand and gravel reserves were 166,401m3 . The starting price of the mine was more than 1.23 billion VND. As a result, Truong Loi Joint Stock Company (address: Dai Hong commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) won the auction at more than 129.6 billion VND.

DL2 mine (in Giang Hoa village, Dai Thang commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) has a sand reserve of 790,000m3 . The starting price of the auction of the mine is converted to more than 7.5 billion VND. Hoang Chau Sa Company Limited (address: Dien Hong commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province) won the auction with the corresponding amount of 491.7 billion VND.
DL11 mine (in Ha Nha and Vinh Phuoc villages, Dai Dong commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province) has a sand reserve of 360,000m3 . The starting price of this mine is converted to more than 3.4 billion VND. The winning bidder is 6666 Industrial Minerals Group Joint Stock Company (address: Tho Xuong ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province) equivalent to 319.9 billion VND.
Thus, the winning bids for the mining sites in the recent auction were quite different from the starting prices at the sites DL12B1 at 127.7 billion VND, DL2 at 484.2 billion VND and DL11 at 316.5 billion VND.
