On the morning of June 30, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province solemnly held a ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the province and communes, wards, and special zones.

The ceremony was directly connected to 124 points of communes, wards and special zones of the new Lam Dong province, including 28 new communes and wards of Dak Nong province at present.

In Dong Gia Nghia ward, many cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees were present very early to witness the historic moment, when the new name and new organization were officially announced and put into operation. The applause and bright eyes expressed the belief and expectation in the new government apparatus that is close to the people, close to the people and serves the people better.

Dong Gia Nghia Ward was established on the basis of merging Nghia Trung Ward and Dak Nia Commune of Gia Nghia City. According to the announced decisions, the Party Executive Committee of Dong Gia Nghia Ward consists of 22 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 8 comrades. Comrade Ho Xuan Hau holds the position of Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council. Comrade Bui Thi Kim Thu holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee. Comrade Thach Canh Tinh holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

Joy and excitement at the historic moment of the country and locality are also the common feelings of many cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in Bac Gia Nghia ward. Bac Gia Nghia ward was established on the basis of merging units including Quang Thanh, Nghia Thanh, Nghia Duc wards (currently Gia Nghia city) and Dak Ha commune (currently Dak Glong district).

According to the decisions, the Party Executive Committee of Bac Gia Nghia Ward consists of 22 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 9 comrades. Comrade Vo Pham Xuan Lam holds the position of Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council. Comrade Tran Van Tuan holds the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ward; Comrade Trinh Anh holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.

From early morning, hundreds of cadres, party members and people of Quang Phu commune were present at the commune to attend the ceremony to announce the resolution and decision of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the province and communes, wards and special zones.
Quang Phu commune was established on the basis of merging Quang Phu, Duc Xuyen and Dak Nang communes.

In a solemn and dignified atmosphere, cadres, party members and people of Quang Phu commune were all excited, happy and hopeful that the innovation of the commune-level administrative apparatus would contribute to bringing the government closer to the people, truly of the people, by the people, for the people.
The new apparatus with new cadres and human resources will innovate leadership thinking, ways of thinking, and ways of working to gradually build the locality to develop more and more.

Dak Nong has 71 communes, wards and towns. Implementing the policy of merging and rearranging commune-level administrative units and organizing a two-level local government model, Dak Nong province has rearranged to 28 communes and wards.

In the atmosphere of the whole country, 28 communes and wards of Dak Nong province have now simultaneously connected online to the Ceremony to announce the resolutions and decisions of the Central and local governments on merging provincial and commune-level administrative units of Lam Dong province; ending the operation of district-level administrative units; establishing party organizations, appointing Party committees, People's Councils, People's Committees, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the province and communes, wards, and special zones.

Although held online, the ceremony was solemn and serious with the presence of provincial leaders, members of the Standing Committee, members of the Party Committee, members of the Party Inspection Committee, leaders of agencies, departments, and commune-level organizations through the periods.
In particular, a large number of civil servants, public employees, armed forces soldiers, union members, representatives of all walks of life, and religious organizations in the communes and wards all attended.

Most delegates were excited and confident that the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units and the organization and construction of two-level local governments were major and correct policies of the Party and State. Thereby, it aimed to streamline, improve effectiveness and efficiency, reduce intermediaries, cut down on focal points, improve flexibility, save operating costs, and reduce duplication of functions. At the same time, it increased the autonomy of communes and wards, ensuring that work was handled close to the people and in accordance with local realities.

The commune level is the place that directly contacts the people, so organizing a two-level government helps to enhance the responsibility of grassroots officials in serving the people and is consistent with the modern governance trend towards digital government, reducing administrative procedures, and increasing publicity and transparency.
Localities also expect that the administrative apparatus reorganization will create a foundation for sustainable development. A streamlined and efficient government system is a favorable condition for implementing fast, strong, synchronous and sustainable socio -economic development policies from the grassroots level.

In addition, to celebrate this important historical event, flags and banners were decorated brightly on the main roads of communes and wards. The atmosphere of work and production was bustling and exciting. Today's event is not only to announce resolutions and decisions on the arrangement of administrative units, but also a great festival, affirming the spirit of solidarity, consensus and firm belief of local cadres, party members and people in the leadership of the Party and State in the cause of national renewal and development.
Previously, on June 25, Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the conclusion of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the personnel work of new communes and wards throughout the province.
