2 female 'rich people' swindled over 110 billion VND by bank maturity

The two suspects summoned by the Criminal Police Department of Quang Binh Province Police include: Hoang Thi Ngoc Thuy (36 years old, residing in residential group 2, Nam Ly Ward), Le Thi Thanh Thuy (37 years old, residing in residential group Nam Thanh, Dong Hai Ward, both in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh).

Initially, Thuy and Thuy confessed that from the beginning of 2023 until now, both of them spread the news that they had many close relationships with officials and leaders of many banks in the province; there were many customers who needed to borrow money from banks with high fees (if they lent them money for a short period of time).

Using this trick, Thuy and Thuy received nearly 56 billion VND from 6 victims in Dong Hoi City, then appropriated it to use for other purposes.

During the process of collecting information and documents, the police determined that Thuy and Thuy also received money from many other people in the province, with a total amount of over 110 billion VND. With this amount, in addition to personal use, the two transferred it to a number of other people to borrow.

The Investigation Police Agency of Quang Binh Province Police has ordered an emergency search of the residence and ordered the emergency detention of two suspects to investigate the act of fraud and property appropriation.

Quang Binh Provincial Police are continuing to collect documents, verify, and expand the investigation; requesting the victims of the two suspects to directly contact the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police (Nguyen Trai Street, Dong Hai Ward, Dong Hoi City) for resolution.
