Faced with the audience's enthusiasm, and with the weather conditions looking better near the show time, the organizers of the Vietnam concert in me decided not to postpone the show, even though this possibility had been considered before.
The audience was determined to brave the rain.

Previously, on online forums, some audiences expressed their anxiety about whether the show would be postponed, some people considered selling tickets at a loss...
Lucky ticket holders hope the weather will be "pleasing" them.

Storm No. 5 flooded many major streets in Hanoi on the morning of August 26 and continued to rain throughout the afternoon. Some sections of the road leading to the performance venue were flooded up to the wheel.
The massive stage promises an explosive night of music.

"These days, the whole country is following the situation of storm No. 5, deeply sympathizing with the people of the affected provinces. At the same time, activities related to the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 are still being carried out as planned as an affirmation of the spiritual strength and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people. With that spirit, overcoming the unfavorable weather, the concert Vietnam in me is still being held to promote the spirit of Vietnam in me: pride, patriotism, sharing, mutual love and affection...", the Organizing Committee announced.
All preparations are still being urgently carried out.

In that spirit, the Vietnam in Me concert organizers said they will organize a fundraiser to share with the people of Central Vietnam affected by storm No. 5 with the call: "This is an opportunity for us to send our trust and encouragement to the people of Central Vietnam - those who are suffering many losses due to natural disasters. Let's work together to create a concert of compassion and solidarity...".
At the same time, the artists of the Vietnam concert in me were still enthusiastically practicing in the rain.
