This year, 15 high schools reduced their 10th grade entrance exam scores compared to last year, ranging from 2.5 to 4.75 points. Of which, Nguyen Thi Dieu High School reduced the most with 4.75 points. Next, Gia Dinh High School reduced its scores by 4.25 points. For the schools: Duong Van Duong, Nguyen Trai, Linh Trung, Phan Dang Luu, Tran Van Giau all reduced by 2.5 points.
On the afternoon of June 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced the benchmark scores for entering grade 10 public schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
This year, the school with the highest 10th grade benchmark score is Tran Dai Nghia Secondary - High School with 24.5 points for the first choice.
Once the benchmark scores are known, from 3:00 p.m. on June 26 to 4:00 p.m. on July 1, candidates must confirm online admission to high schools of all remaining types at: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn
For candidates who need to review their exam, please pay attention to the following timelines:
From 2:00 p.m. on June 23 to 4:00 p.m. on June 25: Candidates will submit their exam review application at the Secondary School.
Secondary schools are responsible for instructing candidates on how to register for re-examination.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training noted that schools that conduct high school exam sites should arrange areas to receive appeal applications for the convenience of candidates but not affect the organization of the exam.
Before 10:00 a.m. on June 28, the Department of Education and Training will collect the secondary school review records and submit them to the examination andeducation quality assessment department.
It is expected that on July 11, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the results of the review.
From July 12 to July 14, the Department of Admissions will consider additional cases of admission after review.
From July 15 to no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 17, submit additional admission applications in all categories.
The 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City this year took place on June 6 and 7, with more than 75,000 candidates registering for the exam, a decrease of 27,000 students compared to last year. This year, 115 public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City recruited 70,070 students for grade 10.
