Deployment ensures absolute security and safety for celebrations, parades and marches

The leaders of the Ministry of Public Security requested that heads of police units and localities thoroughly educate officers and soldiers to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome all difficulties, and excellently complete assigned tasks.

On the morning of August 29, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to send off troops to ensure security and order for the celebration, parade, and march of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Security and order work was ensured for the celebration to take place smoothly.

Presenting a report on the situation and results of the work, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, said that with a deep awareness of the significance and importance of ensuring absolute security and order for the events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the direction of the General Secretary , Prime Minister, Central Steering Committee, Minister of Public Security in the past time, the Security and Order Subcommittee of the Ministry of Public Security has resolutely directed the synchronous and comprehensive implementation of solutions and measures to ensure security and order for the Celebration, with the highest goal and requirement being "absolutely protecting security and safety, not allowing sudden or unexpected events to occur, not allowing even the smallest negligence to occur, not only at the place where the Celebration takes place, but nationwide."

The Ministry of Public Security has focused on synchronously and comprehensively implementing many activities to ensure security and order, focusing on: issuing plans, solutions, and procedures to ensure security and order for the Anniversary Ceremony at the Sub-Committee and Ministry levels and throughout the police of units and localities.

Up to now, the implementation of the plans on the ground has basically connected, synchronized, interconnected, forming a closed "inside-outside" and "above-below" security network and formation. Organizing and operating smooth traffic flow, especially on the route for gathering forces, vehicles, and marching of the parade and marching blocs.

Simultaneously launch 8 peak points to fight against crime and illegal immigration nationwide, thereby cleaning up the area and ensuring an orderly and safe environment for commemorative activities.

Deploy measures to firmly grasp the situation nationwide, in cyberspace, focusing on Hanoi and neighboring localities to proactively prevent, detect, combat, and neutralize plots and sabotage activities, and fundamentally and completely resolve potential complex factors regarding security and order...

"Up to now, the work of ensuring security and order for the Anniversary has basically gone smoothly. The plans through two practical implementations of the rehearsal and preliminary rehearsal of the parade and march have been effective, ensuring absolute security and safety. Some difficulties and problems are not major, mainly related to traffic pressure and the compliance awareness of a small number of people have been basically directed by the Security and Order Subcommittee, with solutions and handling plans," said Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan.

Absolutely ensure security and safety of the Anniversary Ceremony

Giving the order to deploy troops to ensure security and order for the 80th anniversary celebration, parade, and march of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung emphasized that the requirement for ensuring security and order for the celebration is to "implement the highest and most drastic level to absolutely ensure security and safety for the celebration, not allowing even the smallest mistake to occur; at the same time, creating the most favorable conditions for the organization of the celebration, so that people can enjoy and respond to the celebration, parade, and march."

To achieve the above goals and requirements, the Deputy Minister of Public Security requested the Public Security of all units and localities to focus on thoroughly educating all officers and soldiers about the position, role, significance, goals, requirements, and tasks of ensuring security and order for the Anniversary; absolutely not to be subjective, negligent, or lose vigilance, to concentrate at the highest level, to devote all heart and strength, to mobilize the combined strength to absolutely protect security and safety to successfully organize the Anniversary.

"Today's military departure ceremony is a milestone for the professional departments, Hanoi City Police and local police, and relevant forces to enter the highest combat state in deploying forces, vehicles, and measures to ensure security and order for the Anniversary," the Deputy Minister of Public Security emphasized.

Based on the practical implementation of ensuring security and order in the two recent general training and preliminary review sessions, Hanoi City Police and professional units continue to review, supplement and adjust plans; promptly overcome shortcomings and limitations; ensure close coordination and cooperation between forces, police units and localities.

Focus on doing a good job of grasping the situation, strictly managing all types of objects, promptly detecting, fighting, preventing, and neutralizing early, from afar, from the grassroots, right from the beginning of all plots and activities to sabotage the Anniversary by hostile, reactionary forces and all types of criminals; absolutely do not allow activities that complicate security and order. Firmly ensure information security, communications, network security and safety; focus on detecting and handling bad and toxic news, fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile views related to the Anniversary.

Focus on suppressing all types of crimes, strengthening patrols, controlling, strictly managing residence, weapons, explosives, explosive precursors, supporting tools, ensuring fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief on routes, locations of the Celebration activities, places where delegates stay and service vehicles... to clean up the area, create a secure and safe environment to successfully organize the Celebration.

Smoothly and effectively deploy traffic diversion plans to ensure smooth traffic flow, prevent accidents and traffic jams that affect the activities of the Celebration; well organize the reception of delegates to the Celebration, and avoid even the smallest mistakes. Ensure smooth communication to serve the command and direction to ensure security and safety of the Celebration.

Arrange forces, means, and equipment to perform the task of protecting the Anniversary in areas, locations, and routes according to the approved plan, absolutely not leaving out or letting in any objects or risks that may cause insecurity and disorder within the protected area. Strictly implement the work of being on duty, on duty, reporting, commanding, and directing in a centralized and unified manner according to the direction of the Security and Order Subcommittee, and be ready to handle complex situations that may arise early and on the spot.
