Export of electronic equipment and components increased by 45.9%

From the beginning of 2024 until now, Phu Tho 's export of electronic components, machinery and electrical equipment products has increased by 45.9%.

According to information from the Provincial People's Committee: The province's import-export turnover this year is estimated at 30.25 billion USD, an increase of 55.2%; of which exports reached 15.450 billion USD, an increase of 39.6%, making Phu Tho continue to be in the top provinces with high contributions to import-export of the country, at the same time showing the strong and sustainable recovery of production and business activities in the province.

Some items have double-digit export growth, typically the group of electronic components, machinery, and electrical equipment reaching 13.7 billion USD, up 45.9%. According to the explanation of the leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Planning and Investment, the investment projects gradually coming into operation have added important new capacity, strongly promoting the province's export turnover, especially in the field of manufacturing electronic equipment and components.

Typical projects include the project to expand the production line and process memory modules for servers and personal computers, produce and process SSD hard drives of HangYang Digitech Vina Co., Ltd.; the project to produce tablets and electronic components of BYD Vietnam Co., Ltd.; the project to produce wireless headphones of Innovation Vietnam Co., Ltd.; the project to produce solar panels in phase I and phase II of Vietnam Sunergy Cell Co., Ltd., which have added important capacity, increasing Phu Tho's industrial production and exports.

It is forecasted that in 2025, the export of electronic equipment and components of Phu Tho will continue to increase when a series of new projects and production expansion projects will come into operation.
