Phu Tho: First frozen mango export to Korean market

On September 2, at Thong Nhat ward, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection in coordination with Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited organized a ceremony to export the first batch of frozen mangoes of Phu Tho province to the Korean market.

With the connection of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Tien Ngan Investment and Trading Company Limited surveyed mango growing areas in Son La and Hoa Binh provinces (old) and signed contracts with mango cooperatives and cooperative groups to link production, processing and consumption of mangoes for farmers.

Through direct negotiations with Korean enterprises, Tien Ngan Investment and Trade Company Limited has made efforts to find solutions to overcome difficulties, meet the technical requirements of partners and has signed a contract to export the first order of 24 tons. Mangoes are directly purchased, processed, packaged and exported by Tien Ngan Investment and Trade Company Limited.

24 tons of mangoes exported to Korea opened a new path for mangoes and many other agricultural products of Phu Tho to reach the potential market with which Vietnam has signed a Free Trade Agreement. The export of the first batch of frozen mangoes in the province to the Korean market also aims to create conditions for mangoes to penetrate other demanding markets in the world .
