Xuan Mai urgently overcomes flooding

Immediately after the flood on Bui River receded, Xuan Mai commune mobilized hundreds of people and equipment to clean up the environment and overcome the consequences of flooding.

On September 7, more than 100 officers and soldiers of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 28 (Hanoi City Police), Xuan Mai Commune Police, union members, youth, teachers and local residents simultaneously launched an environmental sanitation campaign, cleaning up mud and garbage on roads, alleys and school areas flooded after storm No. 3.

With a sense of urgency and responsibility, the authorities used specialized vehicles in coordination with the active support of the people, quickly restoring the landscape to a clean state, ensuring traffic safety and a learning environment for students. This activity not only contributed to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters but also demonstrated the spirit of “serving the people”, the close bond between the police force and the local government and people.
