The directive clearly states that recently, there have been a number of incidents that pose potential risks to flight safety, such as collisions between two aircraft at Noi Bai International Airport, prolonged flight delays/cancellations affecting security and order at the airport, creating negative public opinion; many electronic information pages of aviation units were attacked, malicious advertisements were inserted, and many user and customer accounts had their information leaked...

The Prime Minister requested to strengthen regular and surprise inspections and supervision of airlines, service providers and airports; strictly handle all violations that threaten safety.

The Ministry of Public Security directed its forces to synchronously deploy professional measures to promptly detect and prevent terrorist plots, sabotage, and disturbances at airports, on aircraft, and at aviation infrastructure.

The Ministry of Public Security is the focal point for coordination between functional forces operating at airports (aviation security, police, military , customs, quarantine, port authorities, etc.) to uniformly and effectively implement aviation security plans; develop inter-sectoral coordination regulations in aviation security work in accordance with the new situation and practical requirements.

The Ministry of National Defense is in charge of developing a plan to deal with the use of drones and other flying vehicles to illegally interfere with civil aviation activities.

The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities with airports to drastically implement solutions to prevent and respond to the use of high-power light sources, laser lights, kite flying, operation of drones and other flying vehicles; at the same time, monitor and handle obstacles that violate regulations on air clearance height, threatening the safety of the port area. Localities must also implement measures to control birds, wild animals and livestock in the surrounding area to ensure absolute safety of aviation activities.
