Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Hoang, pilot, Squadron Leader of Squadron 2 of C-212 aircraft, Air Brigade 918, assessed that the flight on the morning of August 9 was in quite good weather conditions, so the difficulty and hardship were a little less than the previous days. Thereby, the flight training of 4 aircraft was completed very well.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang, as soon as the training plan for the A80 mission was received, the entire squadron and brigade quickly began preparations, coordinated closely, and began serious training. Up to now, the unit has flown 13 groups, and basically had no difficulties during the training process. "The biggest obstacle is still the meteorological problem. If the meteorological conditions are complicated, it will cause difficulties in the process of flying and performing the formation," said Lieutenant Colonel Hoang, adding that he and his teammates will try their best because participating in the A80 mission is a great honor for a soldier.
