With continuous efforts, production units in the province are increasingly strengthening consumers' trust in Vietnamese goods in general and local products in particular in the face of increasingly fierce competition in the market, by focusing on building, developing and protecting their brands.

Talking to Binh Duong Newspaper reporter, Ms. Tang Thi Hang, Director of Hieu Hang Trading - Service Company Limited, assessed that the brand is the pedestal that helps the company's products reach the national market. Notably, in recent times, the company has been supported in training on business management capacity, improving management capacity, building marketing business strategies, transferring technology and applying advanced machinery, scientific and technical advances in production. The company's products are also facilitated to participate in trade promotion activities and register trademarks.

For businesses today, a brand is not only an affirmation of value but also a springboard for products to reach further, affirm their position and open up opportunities for development and deeper integration. “It can be affirmed that in recent years, Binh Duong province has opened up many opportunities for local products to develop their brands, as well as enhance the value and quality of products and develop sustainably. In particular, in the context of fierce competition in the market today, being supported to introduce and promote products, build the image of businesses to consumers both domestically and internationally is a great motivation for domestic businesses. On the other hand, this activity is a strong source of motivation, encouraging businesses to improve brand quality, create new product designs, suitable for the market, ensure stable quality, high competitiveness and environmental friendliness”, Ms. Tang Thi Hang shared.

''We have been actively supporting production units to participate in exhibition weeks, introducing and promoting OCOP products, typical products, and typical rural industries. Particularly, the Vietnamese goods fair is one of the annual trade promotion activities contributing to introducing and promoting local strengths and typical products. Through these events, there have been new customers asking for cooperation and consumption of products of enterprises and production facilities in the province.''

According to Mr. Huynh Van Binh, owner of Ngan Ha business, Binh Duong province has 3 long-standing and famous pottery villages, namely Tan Phuoc Khanh, Lai Thieu and Chanh Nghia. The common feature of Binh Duong pottery is the use of raw materials from the type of clay with high plasticity and adhesion along the rivers passing through the localities for kneading. Along with that is the traditional pottery making technique of the artisans and the secret of baking the pottery to produce perfect batches of pottery. All of these have made a mark of Binh Duong pottery for a time.

“Currently, the ceramics industry is facing the risk of being lost. To preserve the traditional craft, there is no other way but to choose a new direction, preserving traditional techniques, along with new technology to create a brand with its own mark. Along with building a brand, we hope to participate in the trade promotion program to bring goods and products with potential and strengths of Binh Duong to consumers in the province, domestically and internationally through many distribution channels. Thereby contributing to promoting production development, stimulating consumption of Vietnamese goods and building brands for strong products of Binh Duong province”, Mr. Huynh Van Binh shared.

In fact, after being recognized for standards under the local product development support program, these products will easily reach consumers, especially for export, thereby strengthening the position and trust in the product brand. Production units have more favorable conditions to access and benefit from production development support policies from industrial promotion policies, creating a solid foundation for long-term development.

Mr. Le Minh Sang, Director of Tan My Fruit Cooperative (Bac Tan Uyen district), said that the cooperative has had products meeting OCOP standards (Program "One Commune One Product") for more than 4 years now. Products with OCOP certification have increased their value, thereby having a stable and expanded consumption market. What makes the reputation of the product is the quality because the process from planting, fertilizing to harvesting and transporting is closely monitored. According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the market of NKH Company Limited, after many years of research and improvement, the fresh tofu product under the brand name Ngan Hung has officially launched on the market. With strict testing and meeting TCVN 5603:2008 HACCP standards, Ngan Hung tofu quickly gained the trust of consumers. Not only that, the product is also publicly listed on the information page of the Department of Health of Binh Duong province, proving its quality and safety. To preserve the brand, the company adheres to strict production processes, no preservatives, no plaster, the product quality is tested by the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Ly Ngoc Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Minh Long I Ceramics Company Limited, shared that on the path of development and brand building, enterprises should not be satisfied with the results achieved but must strive to improve technology, expand international markets and develop sustainable products, while preserving Vietnamese cultural identity.

Ms. Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that Binh Duong is considered to have many advantages in investing and developing consumer products. Through trade promotion activities in the province, products are increasingly chosen by consumers, especially those products advertised and sold at fairs and exhibitions, etc.
