After the goal, coach Nguyen Tuan Anh's team fell into a difficult situation when they committed 5 total fouls, forcing them to play safe to avoid a 10m penalty. However, they still managed to increase the gap in the 17th minute, when Doan Phat created an assist for Thinh Phat to finish accurately with one touch.
In the second half, Sahako adjusted their playing style, quickly deploying the power-play to create more pressure, but they themselves soon made their sixth combined error. At the 10m mark, Minh Tri's free kick hit the crossbar, missing a scoring opportunity.
In the 34th minute, Cong Park cut the ball from a cross and shot straight into the empty net, increasing the gap to 3 goals.
Four minutes later, Moreira scored a long-range shot to reduce the score to 1-3 for Sahako, but just seconds later, Cong Vien completed his double. This goal helped Thai Son Nam TP HCM set the score at 4-1 and secure a ticket to the final.
Thai Son Bac won the second place in the National Cup futsal final
In the other semi-final, Hanoi caused many difficulties for Thai Son Bac, but Mota (minute 18) and Minh Quang (minute 25) helped the Northern team lead 2-0. Hanoi unexpectedly equalized 2-2 in just 13 seconds in minute 34, but Da Hai and Mota scored consecutively, bringing a 4-2 victory for Thai Son Bac.
Before these two semi-finals, today also took place two matches for 7th place and 5th place. The result was that the 7th place match went to Tan Hiep Hung TP HCM (winning 6-0 over Tre TP HCM), Saigon Titans won 5th place when they won Luxury Ha Long 7-1.
On August 12, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Son Bac will enter the final match, which is considered the most anticipated match of Vietnamese futsal at present.
