Phuoc Tra Commune determined to complete the removal of temporary houses before August 15

DNO - According to the Office of the People's Committee of Phuoc Tra commune, on July 8, Mr. Hoang Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Tra commune inspected and urged the progress of removing temporary houses in the area.

The working group inspected the situation at 5 households living in temporary houses that have not yet been built, including: Nguyen Xuan Thuy, Ho Van Veo, Ho Thi Cao, Ho Thi Nga (both from Tra Nhan village) and Ho Thi Hay (Tra Han village).

Through inspection, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Van Hung commune assessed that the progress of implementing the elimination of temporary houses in the commune is still very slow; therefore, he requested relevant departments and village heads to regularly inspect and urge the increase of human and material resources.

Mr. Hung requested to speed up the progress to carry out acceptance, handover and put into use all remaining houses before August 15, 2025 so that people in the highlands have stable housing before the rainy season. Continue to promote the spirit of shock, mobilize forces and means to support families to complete house construction soon.

In 2025, Phuoc Tra commune will remove 59 temporary and dilapidated houses; to date, 26 houses have been completed, 28 are under construction, and 5 houses have not yet started construction.

Phuoc Tra commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the three communes of Phuoc Tra, Song Tra and Phuoc Gia of the old Hiep Duc district. The new Phuoc Tra commune has a natural area of ​​196.22 ^km2 and a population of 6,933 people.
