In 2022, the total corporate income tax, value added tax and other taxes that VPBank paid to the state budget reached more than VND 6,400 billion, an increase of 94% compared to 2021. The bank's total corporate income tax increased dramatically in 2022 due to a sudden increase in income from insurance activities, and the income tax payable from the transfer of 50% of shares at FE Credit to investors. In the first six months of this year, VPBank paid nearly VND 3.6 trillion in corporate income tax. In the two years of 2021-2022 and the first six months of 2023, the bank paid nearly VND 13.3 trillion to the state budget.

Statistics from the General Department of Taxation show that the total corporate income tax paid by enterprises in the V.1000 list (2022) accounts for 58.2% of the total state budget revenue from corporate income tax, and is equal to 85.1% compared to the amount paid by enterprises in the list announced in 2021. After 6 years of implementation (2016-2022), there are 301 enterprises that have been in the V.1000 list for 7 consecutive years, including VPBank.

In addition to being one of the enterprises with the largest contribution to the state budget for many consecutive years, VPBank is also one of the pioneers in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to strongly spread humanistic values to the community and society. In recent years, the total amount of money spent on CSR activities of the bank has reached nearly 1,400 billion VND.

At the end of the third quarter of 2023, VPBank recorded pre-tax profit at the parent bank of nearly VND 11 trillion. The highlight of the third quarter came from the safe and selective growth of credit balance at the parent bank - supported by abundant liquidity and a solid capital foundation.
