Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang expressed her belief that the Vietnam-Belarus relationship will develop more strongly in the coming time. The two countries have much potential for cooperation that has not been fully exploited, but promises many opportunities for both sides.
Belarus has strengths in the fields of manufacturing industry, machinery, chemicals, medical equipment, green agriculture, science and technology and basic education - areas that Vietnam is in great need of to serve the modernization process, develop infrastructure, transition to a green economy and improve the quality of human resources.
The two countries can completely complement each other, serve the development goals of each country, and contribute to peace and prosperity in the two regions and the world. With the support of ministries, branches, localities and businesses of both sides, and the advantages of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Vietnam-Belarus cooperation relationship will have many more strong, practical and sustainable developments in the coming time.
“Vietnam always appreciates the sincere feelings that Belarus has given to the country and people of Vietnam over the past decades. Maintaining and developing this good relationship, based on trust and mutual understanding, is the desire and aspiration of the people of the two countries and our responsibility,” Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang emphasized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Uladzimir Baravikou noted that 2025 is a special year, when the two countries celebrate bright milestones in their shared history.
