The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a correlation table between the scores of high school graduation exams in 2025 and the average scores of high school subjects in grades 10, 11, and 12 nationwide.
In all 12 subjects, the average high school graduation exam score is lower than the average student's academic record score.
In Mathematics, the average graduation score of candidates was 4.78 points, while the average score of students' academic records in 3 years of study was 7.03 points; the exam score was 2.25 points lower than the academic records. In English, the average high school graduation score was also 1.57 points lower than the students' academic records.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, in case of using high school results for admission, training institutions will base on statistical data on the correlation between the scores of high school graduation exams in 2025 and the average scores of high school subjects to develop and announce equivalent conversions of admission scores and entrance thresholds for each program, industry, group of industries or training fields.
