On the morning of June 30, in Ha Tinh City, the Ministry of Health coordinated with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to organize a "Rally in response to Patriotic Hygiene Day to improve people's health in 2023 - For a healthy and sustainable Vietnam".

Speaking at the rally, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong said that after 10 years of implementation, the patriotic hygiene movement to improve people's health has received the attention and direction of authorities at all levels; the coordination of departments, branches, unions, and socio -political organizations from the central to local levels has created positive and sustainable effects. Thanks to that, clean water, personal hygiene, environmental hygiene, disease prevention, food safety and hygiene, occupational hygiene, hygiene in medical facilities, and hygiene in educational institutions have been gradually improved.

In the coming time, the Deputy Minister of Health requested ministries, branches, authorities at all levels, and socio-political organizations to proactively develop a plan for the patriotic hygiene movement to improve people's health for the period up to 2030 and an annual plan, integrating the movement's activities into plans, programs, and projects...

Also at the rally, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Department of Health Environment Management (Ministry of Health) and Unilever Vietnam on the Program for a healthy and sustainable Vietnam for the period 2023-2028 with many key tasks.

Youth Union members paraded on main streets in Ha Tinh City with the message "For a healthy and sustainable Vietnam"

Immediately after the rally, delegates and about 200 youth union members participated in a parade on the main streets of Ha Tinh City with the message "For a healthy and sustainable Vietnam", to promote people to improve environmental sanitation, personal hygiene, and disease prevention.
