Mobilized over 41 billion VND for the Association's work and the Red Cross movement

BTO-On the morning of June 20, the Provincial Red Cross Executive Committee held a conference to review the work of the association and the Red Cross movement in the first 6 months of 2025 and summarize 20 years of charity kitchen activities of the Provincial Red Cross Association.

The report at the conference said that in the first 6 months of 2025, Red Cross Associations at all levels from the provincial to the grassroots level have promoted their core role in humanitarian activities, synchronously implementing many solutions, thereby achieving many outstanding results.

Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the total value of all activities of the Association was over 41 billion VND, making an important contribution to the implementation of social security policies, providing practical care for vulnerable groups in society, such as: the poor, the disabled, victims of Agent Orange, ethnic minorities, victims of natural disasters and cases in particularly difficult circumstances. In addition, many units have made outstanding efforts in mobilizing relief, organizing large-scale and effective humanitarian activities such as the "Humanitarian Tet" program, "Humanitarian Month", voluntary blood donation, livelihood support, community health care, etc.

Reward individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in operations, management and contributions to the Charity Kitchen.

In particular, over the past 20 years (2005 - 2025), the Provincial Red Cross Charity Kitchen has received a lot of love, companionship and great support from organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside the province, at home and abroad. Thereby, it has contributed to bringing warm meals of love to poor patients. As a result, from 2005 - 2025, the charity kitchen at the Provincial General Hospital has provided nearly 1.5 million free meals to serve patients treated at the hospital with a total value of 27.4 billion VND. From the effectiveness of this Kitchen, 6 more Charity Kitchens have been expanded and developed in districts and provincial hospitals.

In the last 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Red Cross Association will continue to direct, operate, and organize the completion of the targets and tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in 2025, closely following the key programs and plans of the Central Association and the direction of local Party committees and authorities; improve the quality and humanitarian activities, contributing to better care for vulnerable groups. Carry out the arrangement and reorganization of the Association's agencies at all levels according to the direction of competent authorities, focusing on ensuring the stability of the ideology of the Association's staff after the merger of communes and wards, ensuring the maintenance of the effectiveness of the Association's activities at the local and grassroots levels...
