Press conference to inform the content of the 35th session (special topic) of the Provincial People's Council, term XI

BTO-This afternoon (June 20), the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council (NA and PE) held a press conference to inform the content and agenda of the 35th session (special session) - Provincial People's Council term XI. Attending the press conference were leaders and reporters from local press agencies and resident press in the province.

At the press conference, Mr. Ngo Minh Hoa - Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council said that the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial People's Council decided to convene the 35th session (special session) on June 24, 2025 at the Provincial Border Guard Command Hall to review and decide on contents under the authority submitted by the Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, the specific contents expected to be considered and decided include: The amount of funding supported in 2023 for the Provincial People's Court to perform assigned tasks; Approval of the 2024 provincial budget settlement; Adjustment and supplementation of the central budget's medium-term public investment capital plan for the period 2021 - 2025 to implement the National Target Program on new rural construction in the province; Amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the Regulation on expenditure regime for cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities in the province issued together with Resolution No. 15/2022/NQ-HDND dated August 23, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council; Adjustment of the 2025 civil servant payroll of a number of agencies and administrative organizations under the Provincial People's Committee assigned in Resolution No. 08/NQ-HDND dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council also gave opinions on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of the road investment project from Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to the expressway intersection and land fund on both sides of the road; gave opinions on the Pre-Feasibility Study Report of Ham Thang Urban Infrastructure Project; adjusted and supplemented the prices of medical examination and treatment services of Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital; transferred and adjusted the central budget capital plan for 2024 and allocated the central budget capital plan for 2025 to implement the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Council also considered and approved the draft Resolution on Support Expenditure for defense and security units located in the province in urgent cases to ensure stability of the socio-economic situation, security and social order and safety of the locality; Adjust the housing development program of Binh Thuan province for the period 2021 - 2030; Approve the investment policy of the Binh Thuan Provincial Political School project according to the contents approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 2473/OD-UBND dated September 21, 2015; Amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 18/2022/NQ-HDND dated November 18, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on policies to support investment in production development and forest protection contracts for ethnic minority areas in the province for the period 2021 - 2030 and Resolution No. 19/2023/NQ-HDND dated November 10, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 18/2022/NQ-HDND; Approving the tasks and budget estimates for upgrading the information technology system to build a smart hospital of Binh Thuan Provincial General Hospital.
