Foreign exchange rate on March 18, 2025: USD slightly increased again

DNVN - On the morning of March 18, the exchange rate between Vietnamese Dong (VND) and US Dollar (USD) and Chinese Yuan (CNY) at banks tended to increase.

Foreign exchange price on March 16, 2025: USD has not stopped falling

The central exchange rate announced by the State Bank today decreased by 1 VND compared to the morning of March 17, down to 24,793 VND/USD. With a margin of +/-5%, the ceiling exchange rate today reached 26,033 VND/USD, while the floor rate was 23,553 VND/USD. The State Bank's transaction office listed the reference exchange rate at 23,605 - 25,983 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At commercial banks at 8:35 a.m., Vietcombank and BIDV both offered prices of 25,350 - 25,710 VND/USD (buy - sell). Compared to yesterday morning's trading session, Vietcombank adjusted up 20 VND for both buying and selling, while BIDV adjusted up 10 VND.

For CNY, Vietcombank listed it at 3,474 - 3,586 VND/CNY (buy - sell), up 5 VND compared to the previous session. BIDV also adjusted the CNY buying price up by 3 VND, and the selling price up 4 VND, trading at 3,491 - 3,588 VND/CNY (buy - sell).
