Implementing the peak period of crime prevention before, during and after the Lunar New Year, today, December 27, Trieu Van Border Guard Station coordinated with Coast Guard Squadron II to organize legal propaganda and give gifts to fishermen and ship owners at the fishing port of Trieu An commune, Trieu Phong district.

Accordingly, with the motto "Going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every ship and boat entering and leaving the port", officers and soldiers of the two units focused on propagating to fishermen to strictly comply with regulations on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU), transporting illegal goods such as explosives, gasoline at sea... At the same time, more than 50 gifts, each worth 500 thousand VND, including: National flag, life buoys and essential foods for fishermen in difficult circumstances.

More than 150 fishermen and boat owners who were propagandized on this occasion showed their determination to strictly comply with the provisions of the law, actively participating with the border guards and coast guard in the fight against and prevention of all types of crimes before, during and after Tet.
