Admissions 2025: First college announces admission scores based on transcripts

After more than 5 months of receiving applications for high school transcripts, Cao Thang Technical College has just announced the admission results, in which many majors have higher standard scores than in 2024.

This morning, June 11, Cao Thang Technical College announced the admission scores based on academic records.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, the school's principal, said the school started receiving the first batch of transcripts from January 1, ending on June 10. After more than 5 months, the number of applications received was 6,000, while the quota for this method was 2,700, accounting for 60% of the total quota.

The benchmark score for considering transcripts of many majors at Cao Thang Technical College increased compared to 2024.

It can be seen that this year, many majors of Cao Thang Technical College have higher academic transcript benchmark scores compared to 2024. Specifically, the automotive engineering technology industry increased by 2.5 points; control and automation engineering technology increased by 2 points; information technology increased by 1.5 points; mechanical engineering technology, electrical and electronic engineering technology increased by 1 point...

Meanwhile, majors such as computer accounting, welding, industrial electricity, computer network administration... still maintain the same standard score as last year.

Dr. Le Dinh Kha said: "Among the candidates admitted this time, 15% have had a high school diploma in the last 3 years. The remaining 85% need to graduate from high school to be officially admitted. As every year, students still confirm their enrollment and pay training fees directly at the school or online. In case the candidate does not meet the high school graduation requirements, the school will refund the fees."

It is known that the admission confirmation period is from June 12 to July 4. The school continues to accept additional applications based on academic transcripts for all majors and professions until the quota is met.

Accordingly, candidates with an average score of 3 subjects in the combination (including the compulsory subject of math, the remaining 2 subjects chosen from the graduation exam elective subjects) of semester 1, semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1, semester 2 of grade 12 reaching the above first round admission score, can submit their application directly at the school or online on the school's website.

It is known that in 2025, Cao Thang Technical College will enroll 4,500 students, of which 60% will be based on academic records (2,700), and 25% will be based on high school graduation exam scores (1,125). Currently, the school is still accepting applications for direct admission and based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam scores with 15% of the enrollment target (675).
