Attending the program were comrades: Le Thi Hong Nga, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Party agencies; Huynh Phong Van, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party agencies; Tran Thi Hong Nguyet, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the City Party agencies; Bui Huu Hong Hai, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of the City Party agencies; and more than 50 union members, youth who are union officials, exemplary models of the Young Writers Award 2025, excellent union members who are reporters and editors.
At the meeting, union officials and members spoke and exchanged their sincere and frank opinions, as well as the expectations of young reporters and editors working at press agencies.
At the program, Mr. Pham Thien Phuc, Youth Union of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, shared that improving the digital capacity of young reporters and editors in the current period is also very important. According to him, there are many new means and technologies that help improve work efficiency and expertise. Enhance initiative, innovation and creativity in the way of doing journalism.
Meanwhile, reporter Nguyen Tam Nguyen, Youth Union of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, worried that in the context of multi-dimensional information, rapid development of social networks and their influence on social awareness, arousing pride, love and professional responsibility for the team of journalists is one of the very important tasks; contributing to spreading positive information and beautiful stories in society.
Comrade Le Thi Hong Nga, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the City Party agencies, shared: "I hope that you - the "young writers" today - do not forget that you are not only doing your job, but also doing part of a mission. Do not be afraid of being different, do not be afraid of innovation, and do not lose yourself in the hasty flow. Write with your heart, with your ideals, and with your love for life - so that each journalistic work becomes a bridge, a ray of light, a breath of the times".
The Young Writers Award is an award to honor individuals who are young reporters and editors working at press and publishing units under the City Party agencies, have many outstanding achievements in their work, actively participate in Youth Union activities and have many contributions to the unit and society.
The 2025 “Young Writers” Award is not only an opportunity to honor individuals with outstanding contributions in the field of information and journalism, but also affirms the accompanying role of revolutionary journalism with the comprehensive development of the City's youth in the new era.
