In set 1, with home field advantage and superior class, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team quickly took the lead, creating a gap of up to 6 points against Sichuan. However, a moment of distraction from our girls created an opportunity for Sichuan to continuously score, narrowing the gap to 2 points and forcing coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet to call a time-out to interrupt the excitement of the opposing team.
Coming back after a short break, we had 2 consecutive points to increase the score to 20-16, maintaining a 3-4 point gap until set 1 ended with a score of 25-21 in favor of the home team.

In the second set, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team struggled to win. The visiting team Sichuan played better in the early stages to take the lead. It was not until the middle of the set that the Vietnamese girls really found their rhythm, built good blocks to gradually recover the points and then take the lead. The two sides then played very closely, Vietnam took full advantage of their 2-point lead to finish with a score of 25-22, leading 2-0 with a narrow score.
In set 3, the two teams had attractive attacks, drawing points. However, from the score of 11-11, the game completely belonged to Vietnam. The fast and diverse coordination of coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team completely broke down the defenses of Sichuan. The Chinese representative showed signs of losing spirit in the final points, creating conditions for us to have a big victory in set 3.
In the end, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team beat Sichuan (China) 3-0 (25-21; 25-22; 25-18).
